Two post in one day? Gosh, you must have a lot of time on your hands. I’m actually relaxing before I head off to my part time job and a busy day scheduled for tomorrow. I need to go to a primary school, head to the post office, go shopping, and then to ballet lessons. It’s literally going to be a full day of no rest.
I put in the educational children’s game called Reading with Peter Cottontail into my computer. It’s from 1996 so it wouldn’t work because I have to download the old quicktime version. Lame. I was able to play some video clips though, and the quality was so pixelated it looked . . . cool. I paused at a cute scene and tried to paint a replica (I brought the image to life):
I don’t paint as often as I want to, and now I know why. Don’t ask me how long to took to get this painting to almost-perfection. I painted on a very smal board too!
This Monet inspired painting took less than half the time to paint the rabit thumping its food.
Crayons are a child’s tool. Right? Crayons remind me of Rugrats and their jumbo crayons, scribbling jibberish onto paper. Crayons remind me of Blue’s Clues, where Steven takes out his jumbo crayon and notebook and sits in his thinking chair. Well, I decided to sketch with this child’s tool and I believe it’s better than anything I ever did with pastels or charcoal.

I don’t know why but I keep losing all my fine point black pens! It’s driving me crazy! So today I went to buy a 0.7mm uniball gel ink pen for sketching. I normally use pencil and eraser first to perfect my sketches before going over with pen, but I was in a rush to test it out. And here’s the result. I am personally proud of myself because I normally make much bigger mistakes and the actual image looks nothing like the real thing, unless I have an eraser. Or the eyes are way too big for her face. Haha.
Her life has unfolded before our eyes since her first music video splashed across our analog tv screens. Until today, she has been very hush hush. We, the fans are expecting big things to soon attract our attentions again.
